Education & Training

Dr. Roger Light is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist specializing in pediatric, adult, and geriatric neuropsychology.

Since 1989, he has been providing comprehensive neuropsychological assessments in the South Bay through his private practice. In addition, Dr. Light provides assessments throughout the State of California and is licensed to provide psychological services in Alaska and Hawaii as well.

Dr. Light earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Indiana University, Indiana University, completed a clinical internship at Camarillo State Hospital, and completed post doctoral training in neuropsychology at UCLA.

His expertise spans brain injury recovery, executive functioning, and behavioral management.

Academic & Clinical Leadership

As a voluntary assistant clinical professor, Dr. Light has trained future neuropsychologists since the 1990s, while also serving as the Senior Neuropsychologist at Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital for 22 years.

Dr. Light has authored over 45 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, contributing to advancements in:
